Golden Gun

One golden shot means another poor victim has come to a glittering end.

The Man with the Golden Gun Opening

Francisco Scaramanga is the Man with the Golden Gun. One of James Bonds’ greatest villains, Christopher Lee’s portrayal goes down in cinematic history as does his unique weapon. He fires gold bullets from a gun that disassembles into a gold cigarette case, cigarette lighter, fountain pen, and cuff links that act as the trigger.

The prop is the signature weapon featured in the The Man With the Golden Gun (1974). The Golden Gun is certainly one of the most iconic weapons of the James Bond series, and perhaps one of the most widely recognized cinematic weapons of all time.

Factory Entertainment’s Golden Gun replica is a showpiece for any Bond fan and comes with a beautiful display case. The gun can be disassembled into the individual parts or left fully assembled in the case. This was done especially for the movie as the book gun is a single long-barrelled, gold-plated, single-action Colt Peacemaker .45 calibre revolver that fired silver-jacketed bullets with a solid gold core and a cross-cut tip.

The Golden Gun came in at 6th place in a 20th Century Fox poll of the most popular film weapons, and in 2008, it was stolen from Elstree Props and the Elstree Studios in Hertfordshire. At the time, the prop was estimated to be worth £80,000.

The gun has been featured in multiple Bond video games (The World is Not Enough, Agent Under Fire, Nightfire, Everything or Nothing, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent, From Russia with Love, Quantum of Solace, GoldenEye 007 (2010) and 007 Legends). In The World is Not Enough for the Nintendo 64, players must collect the pen, lighter, and case before the gun can be used.

Gold-plated cigarette lighter

with a hidden slide-out section, the textured metal lighter forms the main body of the replica. Flick open the hinged lid to reveal the breech for the single golden bullet. Please note: the Colibri logo engraved on the lighter lid on the original prop is not included on the replica for trademark reasons.

Gold-plated fountain pen

complete with removable thread cap, this screws directly into the body of the lighter to form the barrel. An orange marking has been added to the end of the barrel to comply with replica weapons regulations.

Gold-plated cigarette case

this textured metal case hinges open to create the handle and trigger housing.

Gold-plated cufflink

this acts as the trigger. With a sprung blade, the cufflink screws into the trigger housing, firmly locking all the components together.

Gold-plated bullet

inscribed with 007, this can be fitted into the breach of the lighter or displayed separately.

Display case

this high-quality case has a hinged window lid and metal plaque showing your unique edition number. It features a reversible lining that allows you to display the piece assembled or disassembled, and is made of piano-black lacquered wood and acrylic, detailed with a subtle 007 logo.
